Montoro is decked out to receive Mr. Luis Planas Puchades, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, who will visit the XXI edition of the Olive Tree Fair on the occasion of its inauguration, next Wednesday, May 11, at 5:00 p.m. in the facilities of the Fundación Patrimonio Comunal Olivarero.
Exhibitors from all over the national and international geography will meet at this event that extends from May 11 to 14, being a precursor to commercial relations between businessmen in the olive growing and elaiotechnics sector in order to increase the volume of business during its four days of duration.
The Olive Tree Fair, organized by the Olive Tree Fair Consortium (Montoro City Council and Ilígora Cultural Recreational Club) and the Spanish Association of Olive Tree Municipalities (AEMO), is sponsored by Caja Rural Jaén and promoted by the Córdoba Provincial Council and Junta de Andalucía. This is the most anticipated edition in its history, since the previous one had to be suspended due to the health circumstances caused by the SARS/-CoV-2/Covid-19 pandemic.
