This company from Bujalance (Córdoba) specializes in stainless steel boilers and the manufacture of machinery for olive oil extraction plants. It is recognized for its broad and extended business career; Since its foundation in 1918, they have been a benchmark in the manufacture of oil storage, decantation and selection cellars, and their machinery is synonymous with reliability and innovation in 15 countries.
Under the Manzano Flottweg brand, OliveUp! Industry 4.0. The complete digitization of the oil mill comes from the hand of this project based on the comprehensive management of the fully traceable process from reception to the warehouse, registered and exportable trend data and graphs, and remote control of the factory.
OliveUp! Industry 4.0 would not have been possible without the support of Innolivar, an Innovative Public Procurement Project (CPI) supported by the UCO, Spanish Olive Oil interprofessionals (IAOE) and Table Olives (INTERACEITUNA), in the FEDER call: Line for the Promotion of Innovation from the Demand for the Public Purchase of Innovation (FID-CPI Line), of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The last of the milestones of this project has been the digitization of each of the points of the process studied and optimized in the previous prototypes and including them in a single traceable software, which would allow data management and could be managed remotely.
La Almazara 4.0 is broken down into the following areas:
1. PRODUCT RECEPTION
Detailed identification of each item.
Total and simple management of the machinery.
Automatic olive classification control.
Supervisory software intertwined with Weighing
2. GRINDING AND EXTRACTING OLIVE OIL
Automatic humidity control and addition of talc in the dough.
Total and simple management of the machinery.
Impeller Flottweg. Regulation of the decanter oil outlet at full speed.
Quantification of the volume of oil produced.
Real-time calculation of industrial performance.
3. DECANTING AND STORAGE OF OILS
Continuous volumetric weighing and calculation using weighing cells or pressure sensors.
Graphic and detailed view of each of the tanks in real time.
Automatic purging.
Control of the pumping from the software both in the factory and remotely.
Lists of oil movements and sensor readings.
Thanks to this technological advance -finalist of the “IX Award for Business Innovation” at Agroexpo 2022- one of the most modern extraction lines on the market is designed and marketed, with capacities from just one ton per hour in processes with mixers to work for batches, up to the largest line tested to date: 50 tons per hour with very good results in second extraction.
Our visitors and exhibitors will be able to learn about these and other new developments at the Montoro Community Olive Heritage Facilities at stand C8A of the Fair, from May 11 to 14. Participate and register at: feriadelolivo.es
